Mathematics
Our math program equips students with the tools to excel in challenging school courses or enhance their college resumes, preparing students for success.
How it works
Personalized program
On top of students having their own personalized psychology program, we offer the three levels per grade so your child can find the right fit:
-
Level 1: Intermediate level class. This is ideal for new students to boost them to international standards.
-
Level 2: Advanced level class. We offer a challenging curriculum to students to provide deep understanding and reasoning needed for success from middle school to high school and beyond.
-
Level 3: Distinction level class. The program delves extensively into concepts an advanced level, frequently incorporating competition-level problems to inspire students to surpass their limits. This is also great for students who are interested in math competitions.
Curriculum
Our curriculum, rooted in psychology, integrates multiple standards seamlessly.
-
We adhere to the Common Core standards, ensuring that all our students excel at least one year beyond their grade level.
-
We utilize psychology to teach information in the most easily digestible manner. This is through our teaching methodology and curriculum where we teach students how to learn.
-
To vigorously cultivate our students' critical thinking skills, we employ questions grounded in Bloom's taxonomy.
Features
Our program bolsters students by amplifying their critical thinking and mathematical comprehension.
2.5 hours of class
The main class is online: 2 hours once a week for the actual class and 30 minutes in the middle of the week for a proctored quiz. Because of our optimized learning schedule and techniques, our teachers guide an engaging, challenging lesson. Students are proctored during class to ensure they are on task and produce work on their own without unapproved sources.
Excellent resources
Students are equipped with an abundance of instructional videos, text, and practice problem sets on our online learning portal. We encourage students to improve their metacognition and utilize strategies (that we provide) to be self-motivated, develop a growth mindset, etc. based on their personalized psychology curriculum. Not only that, all of our teachers are highly-qualified and have at least a master's degree.
Personalized coursework
We provide a personalized, psychology-based curriculum on top of their class in order to learn the emotional intelligence that is key to academic success. We also engage parents to help students keep up with their individualized curriculum with regular updates about their progress. Our community is supportive, positive, and fosters healthy competition.
24/7 Help
We utilize an interactive communication platform to seamlessly link students with teachers, ensuring round-the-clock assistance. Moreover, students have the opportunity to support each other, fostering a collaborative learning environment where prompt help is readily accessible.
Optimized, authentic learning
Restudying information at the optimal time amplifies retention by up to 200%, and we enforce it. We do quizzes midway between class sessions to encourage students to study soon after class before they forget the information.
Generous trial period
We operate with an open-door policy so you can lock in when you feel ready. You have the opportunity to receive a full refund within the first 30 days of your semester class. We have genuine confidence that you will love our program.
We teach our students how to perform under pressure
As AI becomes more common, schools are implementing strategies to prevent unethical use of AI, making exams increasingly important for academic performance. We equip students to excel in this environment.
The Research
We use innovative methods throughout our entire curriculum, and they have been proven to work by research.
Emotional literacy
"Emotional literacy programs improve children's academic achievement scores and school performance. This isn't an isolated finding; it has been replicated in various studies." (Goleman, 2021, Harvard PhD)
Effective learning
Emerging studies indicate that engaging in higher-order thinking enhances the development of prior knowledge schemas more effectively and profoundly compared to lower-order thinking (Liu et al., 2021).
Breaking the efficiency time-trap
Research indicates that students who have difficulty engaging in higher-order thinking struggle to interact with course material at the expected depth of knowledge in their program (Zoller, 2016).
Growth mindset
Mistakes are the inevitable part of the learning process. School children with growth mindset endorsement performed with higher accuracy after mistakes (Schroeder et al., 2017).
Higher-order thinking
After implementing higher-order thinking, findings demonstrate statistically significant gains in students' academic achievements and proficiency (Teemant et al., 2016).
Enhanced productivity
"People with well-developed emotional skills are also more likely to be content and effective in their lives, mastering the habits of mind that foster their own productivity; people who cannot marshal some control over their emotional life fight inner battles that sabotage their ability for focused work and clear thought." (Goleman, 2021, Harvard PhD)
